The client

After running a florist’s shop for several years Catherine ran her own florist shop for several years and then decided to concentrate purely on Wedding Flowers & Venue Styling which she absolutely loves and has been doing for the last 12 years or so.

Her style is in romantic and natural arrangements incorporating, where she can, locally grown and seasonal flowers. She is also dedicated to only one wedding per week so that couples get all the attention they deserve!

The brief

With Green & Gathered a new venture, Catherine was looking to start up social media presence for her new business, bringing her fabulous new branding to life, with an aim to direct traffic to a new website, drive brand awareness and secure 2022 / 2023 wedding bookings

Our approach

Taking into account this beautiful brand colour palette, and the English Country Garden florals that Catherine specialises in, we bought together imagery, testimonials, quotes and content to engage with local suppliers and couples based in the North East of England.

Creating a bank of content across platforms was an immediate priority, showcasing Catherine’s beautiful work, and establishing a clear and consistent brand identity across platforms.

What we delivered

Using the Green & Gathered Instagram profile as a live magazine of content and inspiration, we researched hashtags, keywords and content to drive reach with potential clients, also creating story highlights to share complementary accounts, and behind the scenes activity.

While we focused on Instagram, we also created content for both Facebook and Pinterest,

In the first month of set up the content secured 5.5k impressions across platforms, and 107 website sessions, securing four enquires in just the first few weeks.

The result

Now three weeks in, Green & Gathered have a solid social media presence, with the second phase of our work including an engagement and community building programme, in partnership with Catherine and Green & Gathered.
