Love Letchworth

The client

Love Letchworth are the driving force for improvement in Letchworth town and a voice to local businesses.

Their mission? To make the town a unique and inspirational destination for all to enjoy: attractive, social, innovative, creative, convenient and most of all thriving.

The brief

Chris (BID Manager) approached us to help create a social media campaign around what makes Letchworth Unique, with the aim to showcase the best independents from the town.

With an already passionate local community, we were asked to run the two-week long campaign to increase brand awareness and encourage sharing.

Our approach

Already providing weekly events and promotional activities, Love Letchworth wanted to shout out the best of their town, after reading an article written from neighbouring town Hitchin on what shops and businesses are missing (ironically this is everything Letchworth has!).

Being local to Letchworth ourselves, our team already had a good knowledge of the town, and so coming up with ideas was easy! We were able to use the correct tone of voice to balance showcasing the best of Letchworth whilst referencing the article in a tongue-in-cheek way.

What we delivered

 Asides from completing the social media campaign itself, we were able to work closely with the Love Letchworth team to create bespoke postcards, business interviews, and an interactive map and events guide using our in-house designers and software. Our aim being – to make sure all of the resources were consistent with the campaign, through artwork and the #DiscoverLetchworth hashtag.

The result

Working closely with the Love Letchworth team we were able to create a campaign which drove awareness, traffic and increased engagement. As well as creating imagery to suit both the town and the campaign.
