Following changes within the world of paddle sport, including the huge growth of stand-up paddleboarding participation and being awarded governing body status, British Canoeing made the decision to rebrand. This was to more inclusively reflect their work and evolving membership in the recreational and performance paddling communities, becoming Paddle UK.
Their in-house marketing team were looking for additional resource to offer support during the lead up to the rebrand launch in March 2024, and beyond. Coming highly recommended, Alchemy were approached to support on developing newly branded video and creative assets, working as a satellite team.

The new Paddle UK branding and logo development was a fantastic place to start, with clear brand guidelines and strong iconic assets to work to. We were asked to use these guidelines to bring movement and energy through pre and post launch digital content.
Our team worked closely in collaboration with the in-house marketing team at Paddle UK, offering ‘plug-in’ support for specific projects, checking-in weekly throughout the project and spending time together to ensure all content was impactful, on-brand and engaging.
The rebrand was very well received by the paddling and wider sports community with many eyes on the content delivered during the launch directing people to the newly launched Paddle UK website. We were delighted to support the team, and bring some of our creativity and video production to the project.
